District of Columbia Broomball hosts pickup games between league seasons. It's a great way for new players to try the sport before registering for a full season.
Our next Learn-to-Play Broomball event is at the St. James on Friday, August 21 at 7:30 p.m. Then we will host a Learn-to-Play event at Tucker Road Ice Arena on Tuesday, September 8 at 9:30 p.m.
The league will have shoes, sticks, and helmets available to borrow; shin and knee pads are also recommended but will not be provided. Bring a dark- and a light-colored shirt so we can set up teams more easily.

If you are new to broomball, there is no cost for you to play in the learn-to-play event! For those returning players who want to get on the ice for some extra practice, please chip in $15 toward the cost of ice time using the Paypal button below.
All new players will need to sign a waiver.
